Bad books on writing tell you to ‘WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW’, a solemn and totally false adage that is the reason there exist so many mediocre novels about English professors contemplating adultery.

Omg yes brienne is great

yesss I adore her, hearts and stars in my eyes for the maid of Tarth

Yeah I kind of hate got and would stop watching if it weren’t for arya and tyron and sansa

I’m just glad I never got into the TV series. The books aren’t much better when it comes to that, but the show writers add more than what was even there in the first place. :/

(also, your choice in characters to follow are excellent <3 although I’m super-duper fond of Brienne myself)

one of my friends said that and then I explained a few um things and he was like “what the actual fuck”

lmao right???

I got into an argument a few weeks back with my mother because she also loves GoT and was talking about the realism in it

I had to fucking pull up sources and explain it’s not an accurate reflection of medieval society, like medieval times SUCKED but honestly there would be a point where there’d be a revolution from the lower classes simply because of all the shit they’ve faced while the kings and queens play their ~game

"how do we make this never ending series full of dragons, dead people coming to life, women birthing shadow creatures, people who are basically were-creatures, and trees that help you tell the future and the past, more realistic—RAPE, yes, excellent choice, no one shall question this"

I get so angry when I think about Game of Thrones and how people think it’s an accurate reflection of medieval society

just a huge pile of keysmashing from me in my rage
